"Lilac Wonder" was originally a wild tulip, which explains why she self-propagates so fantastically.
Pink petals with a golden-yellow centre, she looks wonderful planted in tufts of at least fifteen plants - whether in your flower bed or dug straight into the lawn.
And she offers up a delicious early-bird buffet for insects! If the weather plays nicely (and warmly), she sometimes starts popping up as early as the end of March.
For a colourful corner in your spring garden, combine her with the white and blue "Pulchella Alba".
