Such a vibrant and impressive appearance! With her huge purple-dark-red flowers, this beauty will not be ignored! Strong stems.
Her large blooms and radiant colour look wonderful combined with "Penhill Dark Monarch" and "Mango Madness".
She looks breathtaking in a vase. Best cut when the flowers are a third open.
Tip: Pinch dahlias as soon as they are 20cm to 30cm (8" to 12") tall: simply shorten the shoot tip by a third. This way, they'll form more shoots, flower more and look bushier.

🐝 Dahlias are often wrongly described as not insect-friendly. But for most of them, as soon as the flowers open up (even the fully double ones), Bees & Co can access stamen and pollen.
