Aquilegia vulgaris

Columbine (or Granny's bonnet) is one of my absolute favourite spring flowers.

She positively floats through flower beds with the grace of a ballerina. "Lime Sorbet" is a beautiful greeny-whitish variety that adds a hint of cool freshness to any colour palette.

Her enchanting blossoms look like small pompoms.
